Mulga Post ‘N’ Rail Fences, was established by Mr Jim Ekberg back in the early 1980’s. As a concreter, Jim saw the old characteristic timber post ‘n’ rail fences disappearing with age, rot, fires and termites. Jim developed a unique moulding system that insures no two pieces are ever the same, just like the real thing.

 

Mulga Products was established by Ken Harrington in 1994. Utilising the unique moulding system Jim had developed for the original Post ‘n’ Rail, Ken increased the range of products to include sleepers, troughs, sign posts, jetties, garden lights, along with around fifty other products.

Utilised in country and city gardens as a focal point, boundary fences or gate ways, adding character to an entrance, adding authenticity to French Provincial theme or just as a whimsical piece in the garden, Mulga Post ‘N’ Rail fencing and the other products have always provided an interesting talking point.

Mulga sleepers are used extensively to replace aging, rotted timber sleepers in the garden as edging or retaining without loosing the charm of the original timber.

Black Stump Products was established by Ken Harrington in 2004 as a range of hand cast stone products to compliment the Mulga timber look range. Genuine stone walling and paving has a charm all of its own, however it is usually expensive to lay and requires skilled trades people.

The Black Stump range of stoned faced retaining wall blocks and pavers allows the home handyman or landscaper the opportunity of creating a character filled stone wall with ease, and compliment it with matching hand cast stone paving.

The unique moulding system employed in the manufacturing of these products ensures that each block or paver is not identical to the next.

Ken Harrington has been an award winning landscape designer since 1974, utilising many types of pavers, retaining walls blocks and natural stone within landscaping projects.

Mulga Products (Australia) along with Black Stump Pavers and Blocks (Australia) commenced in January 2007 as the principal administrator of the Mulga Products and Black Stump web site and licensed manufacturers for Mulga Products and Black Stump Pavers and Blocks across Australia. Continuing product development and research is constantly carried out by Mulga Products ( Australia) while also producing and distributing the moulds for the Mulga and Black Stump range.
